AIMCOL

AIMCOL collects and organizes the images and videos already on your Windows PC. It reads the folders you add, so the original files stay where they are. It does not build a separate media database, and it does not copy those files into one.

Built for a media library

  • Add folders in the sidebar and watch them for new files, deleted files, and renames.
  • Browse images and video as large thumbnails. Search by file name, sort by newest, oldest, or name, and change the thumbnail size.
  • Open a preview window with image zoom and pan, video playback, and an always-on-top control.
  • See the file name, size, dimensions, modified date, and path. Copy the path or file name, rename or delete a file, or show it in File Explorer.
  • Drag a file out to a browser or another app. Drop a file onto another watched folder to move it.

Sites beside the library

  • Keep websites you use often in the sidebar and open them inside AIMCOL, in Microsoft Edge, or in Edge app mode.
  • Save a download from an embedded site into a library folder. Each workspace remembers its own save folder.
  • Send a library file to a workspace. On an Instagram workspace opened inside the app, AIMCOL can refresh Instagram and open the create-post screen. You still choose the file in Instagram.

Instagram, Firefly, and Kling are examples of sites a workspace can hold. Instagram and Kling include extra in-app handling. AIMCOL is not affiliated with those services.

Files it reads

JPG, JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF, MP4, MOV, MKV, and WebM.

Simple editor

  • Crop with these aspect presets: free, 1:1, 4:5, 9:16, 16:9, 4:3, and 3:4.
  • Place a logo and set its position, scale, and opacity.
  • Mute audio when exporting video.
  • Undo and redo.
  • Export writes a new file: PNG for an image, MP4 for a video.
  • Quick edit reapplies the last saved settings for an image or a video, then exports into a library folder.
